Meet Marshall
My own training journey started long before I became a coach.
Over the years I’ve competed in powerlifting, trained for bodybuilding, and spent thousands of hours refining how strength training actually works in practice while working with the best coaches.
At the same time, training has never been about extremes. Outside the gym I enjoy getting outside, walking my dog Marino, and spending time on the water paddleboarding.
Fitness should enhance your life, not consume it.
That balance between disciplined training and a sustainable lifestyle is the foundation of how I coach clients today.
Athletic Background
My background in strength training started long before I became a coach.
Growing up, I competed in multiple sports including football and track & field, which introduced me to structured training at an early age. During high school I also competed in Weightlifting and became the first state champion in my school's history.
Competing at 139 lbs bodyweight, I lifted:
Bench Press — 290 lbs
Clean & Jerk — 285 lbs
Those early experiences sparked a long-term passion for strength training and performance.
As my training progressed, I continued to develop my strength through both bodybuilding and powerlifting. Over the years I’ve spent thousands of hours refining technique, programming, and long-term strength development.
At 182 lbs bodyweight, my best powerlifting numbers include:
Bench Press — 386 lbs
Squat — 501 lbs
Deadlift — 540 lbs
Competing in multiple strength disciplines has given me a deep understanding of how structured training, progressive overload, and consistency produce real results over time. That experience directly informs how I coach clients today.
The Training Philosophy
The coaching approach at Condra Personal Training is built around a few core principles.
Structured Programming
Training follows structured strength programming designed to progressively build strength and improve body composition.
Consistency Over Shortcuts
Real results come from consistent training and sustainable habits, not extreme programs or short-term challenges.
Coaching & Accountability
Hands-on coaching ensures proper technique, progressive training, and long-term adherence to the program.
Experience the Training Firsthand
The best way to understand the training system is to experience it directly.
New clients begin with two complimentary personal training sessions that include a movement assessment and InBody body composition scan.
